Your company details and plan. These pre-fill every new product you create.
Saved once to your account. Each product can still use its own contact email if you choose.
Shown in the top-left corner of your published configurators. PNG with a transparent background works best. Leave it empty and nothing is shown. You can also hide it per product.

Anonymous: no names or emails, only what shoppers click. Visitors whose browser sends "Do Not Track" are never recorded. Works without Google Analytics. Tell your visitors about it in your own privacy policy.
The button shoppers press to reach you. Rename it ("Request a test drive", "Book a viewing", "Get a quote"), or send them to a web page instead, for example your free sign-up page.
Upload a ready-made 3D model or CAD file.
.glb/.gltf load directly. .obj/.fbx/.stl/.step/.stp/.iges/.igs/.brep are all tessellated and converted to .glb automatically, in-browser, via an embedded CAD kernel. Warning above 80MB — this tab does all the parsing, there's no server yet.
Names and materials that work best are explained in Help, "Preparing your 3D model".
We looked at your model. Check what each material is, then one click builds Paint, Trim and Interior color options and offers optional parts as accessories. Textures you upload are matched to materials by their file names.
Any image files (PNG, JPG). Pick a material below to apply them as its base color, normal, roughness, metalness, AO or emissive maps — or attach one to a color option in Colors & options or the data sheet's "texture" column. Textures are saved with the project.
White = recolorable. Red/Green/Blue are up to 3 separate areas — name any you use, e.g. "Seat", "Stitching".
Specular / glossiness maps aren't supported by this viewer — convert gloss to a Roughness map (inverted) instead.
Pick a backdrop and dial in the lighting once. It is baked into the published configurator; shoppers cannot change it. Road has detailed asphalt with lane markings; Water is deep and its ripples move.
How the shopper's page looks: the shape of the buttons, the surface and the colours. Open the Final preview to see it.
Glass and Transparent let the bars take the colour of the backdrop you chose above, so the page and the 3D scene look like one.
Add color options directly — no CSV needed. Give two colors the same category (e.g. "Paint" and "Trim") to build separate single-select groups.
Add-on items with a photo, name, price and details — shown as a checkbox group (pick any number), separate from the color/trim CSV sheet below.
Build trim levels or packages that change which parts of the model are visible — e.g. "Essential" (no sunroof) and "Preferred" (sunroof + digital dashboard). Each trim shows up as a button with a picture of that trim. Trims in the same group ("Trim") are choose-one.
Click a part in the 3D viewer. Hidden parts disappear right away, so you can click through to what is underneath. Use the ▲ button on a chip to pick the whole group the part belongs to.
Import an animated part as its own .glb file, for example a car door that opens and closes, and play it from a hotspot. Export it from the same scene as your main model so it lines up (use the offset and scale boxes if it needs a nudge). Tick the part of the main model it replaces so the two do not overlap, then add a hotspot on the handle and pick the animation.
Click "Add hotspot" above the 3D viewer, then click a point on the model — a white marker gets placed there. Shoppers click it to see a short note, e.g. "Digital dashboard" or "Enhanced rubber grip".
Columns: category (or group), name, price, hex, texture, materialTarget, show and hide (model parts this option shows or hides, separated by ; — like a trim's Show / Hide parts), nodeTarget (or mesh / part: the name of the model part an accessory shows and hides; type the exact mesh name and it applies automatically, or pick it from the list in the parsed table below), details (or subtitle), image, type. "accessory" category = checkbox automatically; any other category defaults to single-select (so one color / one trim) unless its type column says "multi" — use that for several named accessory groups (e.g. Engine Upgrades, Safety Equipment), so more than one can be picked at once. Set hex OR texture (texture wins if both set). For image, upload the photo files first under "Upload textures" above — the sheet just references each by file name and matches it up.
Only needed for special cases: tick exactly which real materials each group changes. Choosing "Applies to" when you add a color already does this for you.
Adds an "Interior view" button to the configurator. Shoppers switch between the outside view and a camera you place inside, and can look around by dragging.
Look at the model from above (drag to rotate) and click where the driver's eyes should be. The orange marker shows the camera and where it points.
Tip: switch to "Preview interior view", drag to look where you want the shopper to start, then press the button above.
Roughness, metalness, opacity and reflection for general materials such as glass, metal and plastic. Paint, trim and other colors are tuned per color in the Preview step, right under their color options. Ships baked into the exported configurator — not a shopper-facing control.
Estimate
Show shoppers what the total could look like as a monthly payment, under the total in the cart. Cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles are usually sold with cash, finance and lease. Boats and aircraft are usually cash or a long loan, so lease is off by default for them. Turn on only what you really offer.
Publish for a hosted iframe embed. We host the files, and you can unpublish at any time.
If you download and self-host this configurator, it checks in with ARANTRON and only runs on the websites listed here (subdomains included). Leave it empty to allow any website. The hosted iframe from "Publish" is not affected. Takes effect after the project is saved.
Downloading the standalone file is available only under an enterprise agreement (it gives full offline ownership of the file, outside our hosting). Use "Publish (hosted iframe)" on your plan, or contact us to upgrade.
